In recent years, the crisis of China's ethnic minority areas are on the rise. the one hand, ural disasters, such as earthquakes, loods, fires, mudslides and so forth,are happened frequently. On the other hand, problems such as public health emergencies and unexpected social security events and mass emergencies are also prominent. According to statistics, nearly1,000cases among over5000destructive disasters have occurred since the founding of China were in the ethnic areas, which made serious damage to the ecology-social-economic system of minority areas. Especially in the ethnic areas which has harsh environmental conditions, space is small, economic growth is slow, a series of crises have not only threat to the safety of life and property of the minority people in the region, and the resulting serious consequences greatly hinder minority nationality areas' economic development and social stability. Family as a crisis response disaster body, to plan ahead and do a good job of disaster prevention and mitigation etc, can greatly reduce casualties and property losses through personal save, Family or neighborhood mutualaid before the sudden disaster events. rainy day.Through indepth study of the literature related to the thesis, the paper do research on family disaster preparedness strategy of the ethnic areas from the perspective of vulnerability analysis. First of all, the theory of vulnerability analysis, disaster preparedness and family disaster preparedness concepts and research overview are outlined, then the connotation and the research methods of vulnerability theory are elaborated, as well as content and specific content of disaster preparedness and family disaster preparedness, and the characteristics of national regional disasters are summarized, and vulnerability factors existed in Zhouqu family disaster preparedness are described and analyzed as Zhouqu, Gansu an example. The paper have a empirical analysis on Zhouqu family preparedness status by way of questionnaire, and finally do the case study on the Zhouqu8.8large debris flows, framework for action of our national family disaster preparedness is established and possible improvements recommendations is proposed.
