This article result sums the important factors that affect life quality of the elderly in china up in three aspects:material support, spiritual support, life care.1, social pension security level shows big differences between urban and rural areas, and between gender divisions. The rural social pension insurance coverage is too low in country, and the material support condition for the elderly is poor than urban, especially for the female elderly.2, the present status of spiritual maintenance of the elderly is worrying.3, long-term care for the elderly lags far behind the demand.
