Research On The Public Image Construction Of Yunnan Border-control Forces Of Public Security

The Yunnan Border-control Forces of Public Security shoulders the significant tasks of maintaining the security and stability, fighting against crimes and illegal activities, as well as improving the economics and society development in Yunnan border areas. The special conditions in Yunnan border areas make the Yunnan Border-control Forces face with complicated cases, heavy responsibilities, harsh conflicts and tough working conditions. The Yunnan Border-control Forces of Public Security possesses double attributes, army and police. In addition, directly law enforcement and the special foreign-related affairs make the Yunnan Border-control Forces face with heavy responsibilities and complicated law enforcement conditions, which also make some comrades breed the special privilege mentality. Some local police community relations are tense. The masses do not understand and support the work. Some officers and soldiers enforce the law irregularly, work against the people's interests, and affect the image of the Yunnan Border-control Forces of Public Security. Therefore, we must fully understand the great significance of establishing a good public image which ensures the successful completion of the tasks endowed by the Party and people.The Border-control Forces of Public Security implements the dual leadership, under the directly leader of Ministry of Public Security and under the leadership of the local Party committee, the government and public security organs. It undertakes the central duties and responsibilities of the border control as well as the local duties and responsibilities which are mainly about the maintenance of the social security administration and the economics and society development in the border areas. This thesis focuses on how to handle the internal and external relations and build the good public image.This thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduced the basis and significance of the title selection; the second chapter puts forward the theory basis of building public image of the Yunnan Border-control Forces of Public Security, and states the meaning of guidance to build public image which is from the theories of public relations and public management; the third chapter analyses the existing problems and reasons of building public image made by the Yunnan Border-control Forces of Public Security; the fourth chapter analyses and states handling several relations of building public image made by the Yunnan Border-control Forces of Public Security; based on the above, the fifth chapter puts forward the contents of building public image and search for the methods to build public image.
