University counselor is not only the main organizer and executor of the ideological and political education of university students but also the guide and advisor of the healthy growth of the university students. With the social progress, the economic development and the development of the reform in Chinese higher education institutes, team building of university counselors need to become Professional in accordance with the situation. The goal is to meet the challenge that came along with the development of higher education, to strengthen the ideological and political education of university students further and to maintain the stability of colleges and universities. However, Incentive Mechanism is the most important among all the long-term mechanisms that secure the Professional development of the university counselor. If the Incentive Mechanism be implemented in the team building of university counselor, it is of great significance to drive the Professionalization of university counselor's team building, to arouse the initiatives of the university counselor and to improve the overall level of the Moral Education of university students. Based on the above-mentioned situations, the author undertook the research of the Incentive Mechanism of university counselors' Professionalization.Based on the introduction of university counselors' Professionalization and the analysis of its current situation and problem, the thesis combined the theory of the university counselors'Professionalization and then built the principles, the goal and the concepts of the university counselors' Professionalization. Specifically, it is consisted of four parts:Part one focuses on the systematic illustration of university counselor's concepts, the connotation of Professionalization and the historical evolution of professionalization.Part two elaborates the achievements and the problems in the team building of university counselor, especially to analyze the problems of university counselor's Professionalization. Certainly, the significance to university counselor's Professionalization for incentive mechanism should be emphasized so as to summarize the present status and problems of university counselor's professionalization.Part three introduces theoretical basis of the incentive mechanism of university counselor's professionalization. It mainly includes the following:demand arrangement theory of Maslow,two-factor theory,theory of expectancy,,equity theory,intensify theory,inspiration theories.At last, based on defining the principles of incentive mechanism of university counselor's professionalization, this paper gives the construction of aim of incentive mechanism of university counselor's professionalization. In order to explain the clue of the incentive mechanism of university counselor's professionalization, the five aspects are included. Firstly, it is necessary to strictly command the professional quality and to construct the scientific entrance mechanism. Besides, material benefits of the university counselor should be improved and the reasonable safeguard mechanisms should be built. Thirdly, the performance evaluation also should be standardized in order to construct a fair evaluation mechanism. Fourthly, we need to strengthen counselor training and construct the systematic training mechanism. Finally, the university counselor's identity should be improved to perfect the development mechanism.
