Independent Institute is a product of the development of higher education in China has changed from elite education to mass education. Independent Institute has been an important part of higher education in China after the rapid development of the past more than 10 years, and has made outstanding contributions to higher education. At the same time, independent college counselors are constantly growing. Incentive is important to the human resources management. However, at present on how to use the incentive mechanism to strengthen the construction of the Independent college counselor's team research is not a lot. Therefore, to explore how to build and improve the scientific and rational independent college counselor incentives has great practical and targeted effects on how to further develop the enthusiasm,initiative and creativity on work,to promote the professional and career-oriented development for independent college counselor's team.In this thesis the FS College is regarded as the research object, questionnaire,interview, and literature research methods are adopted to analyze the current management of FS College counselor's incentive problems, combined with the foreign-related theory of motivation to try to build an effective counselor incentives. Firstly, the background of this research is introduced. Secondly, this thesis introduces some foreign incentive theories, and it fully analyzes the current incentive mechanism of FS College. 0n the basis of analyzing the present condition and incentive mechanism of the counselor, it points out the current problem of FS College counselor incentive mechanism and expounds the necessity and feasibility of rebuilding the incentive system. Finally, combines with the objective of the specialized constructions in FS College counselor's team and the actual situation, this paper sets a new model for FS College counselor's incentive mechanism from performance appraisal, payment system, mechanism of instructor training and vocational development, etc.Influenced by its college, time and condition, its incentive mechanism is dynamically changing and so it can never be perfect. Thus, it is important and realistic to master the incentive management theories, to learn the successful experiences of the other colleges, to establish the incentive mechanism fitting the college's actual situation. Some of these problems in this paper are an independent college there, and some is specific to FS College, hoping not only FS College how better to strengthen the counselor team with practical guidance, on the other Independent Colleges also can have some reference.
