The tutoring of students in high school not only affects students'studying life, but also has a profound impact on their development in the future. There is no doubt that the 21st century is an era of the knowledge-based economy. Competition between competent people is the crucial part of social competition. And the basic requirement for a competent person is possessing high quality. The tasks of general high schools require a tutor system which is oriented towards all students, has excellent teaching of knowledge in the textbook, and also pays great attention to the education and enhancement of ideological, moral, physical and aesthetic qualities in order to train the students to be all-rounded.At present, many high schools only focus on students' academic achievement, but pay little attention to students' healthy growth both mentally and physically, and ignore the training of students' all-rounded qualities. The high school students form a special group in which they are under enormous pressure from college entrance examination and their physical and psychological changes. The education in high school should not only focus on the college entrance examination, but also need to guide and tutor students correctly to insure students'healthy growth both mentally and physically. Therefore, the improvement of the work to tutor students in high school is needed on the base of the current tutoring system.This article is based on the research of many literatures and investigation in the form of questionnaires and interviews in the No.1 high school of Cheng Gong which reflects the situation of their current tutoring system, including its advantages, disadvantages, challenges faced and so forth. According to the organization and analysis of the reference material, the existed problems of the current tutoring system of the No.1 high school of Cheng Gong are as follow:the tutoring system is one-sided, the target of tutoring is limited, the measures of tutoring are inflexible, the system of students'evaluation is unscientific, and the relationship between teachers and students is inharmonic.This article analyses the reasons of the above problems, discusses the possible proper model of the tutoring system for the No.1 high school of Cheng Gong, put forward a proposal to integrate the emotional guidance of students into the tutoring system in order to solve those problems of the tutoring system. On this basis, it also suggests the specific measures of the emotional guidance for high schools, teachers and head teachers respectively with the purpose of providing a train of thought to improve the tutoring system in high schools. The measures and conclusion in this article provide meaningful and helpful guidance for both theoretical and practical area of the tutoring system of the No.1 high school of Cheng Gong. In the meantime, it is valuable for other high schools which have the similar situation as No.1 high school of Cheng Gong to improve their tutoring systems.
