Advanced technology, convenient cultural exchange, thought pluralism consists of the characteristics of this epoch we lived. However, enjoying all these benefits from the economic development, we found ourselves sink into the blind area of modern civilization which named lost interest in the moralities. Actually, it is inevitable for any nation in the world comes across this dilemma in the course of fast economic expansion. At that time, people are always inclined to find out their way from their ancestors' experiences and traditional culture origins.Society is always advancing, but this should lie the foundation on the advanced technology, culture continuity and thought pluralism. Education is the reason of all these variants. We can say that education is the bridge between human cultural history and future world. In all ages, education develops clearly which contains three main environments, that is the nation, society and family. Among them, schools are regard as main battlefield where education take place and undertake the historical commision of promulgating culture and breeding the young generation. The function of moral education are highlighted in all kinds of education. It is no exaggeration to say that moral education plays an important role in traditional culture.Confucianism which originated from Confucius and Mencius' thought has abundant content and multi-field construction. While the educational thoughts are the most extensive ingredient which make possible passing on the culture and thoughts by the posterities. Zhu Xi is one of the typical character in it. After researching the confucianism meticulously, Zhu Xi summarize the educational idea of sage of the past and structure a systemic thought of his own, especially his moral education thought which make great sense on recent school moral education. This thesis tries to reply the value or utility that Zhu Xi's moral education thought to modern school moral education pattern. According to the purpose, the thesis are divided into three parts Firstly, illuminate the background and details of Zhu Xi's moral education; secondly, base on the real situation of modern moral education and make a contrast with Zhu Xi's moral education to find out the cause of today's practical question; finally, how to blend Zhu Xi's thoughts on moral education into our school moral education.Nowadays, we should assimilate the achievements of traditional civilizations as Zhu Xi does, meanwhile not to sneer at the practices and thoughts of that age. These all proves that human keep progressing and also for the historical evolution. Facing these, we should unscramble the thoughts of confucianism from an objective angle and comprehensive understanding, thus apply to our real dilemma discriminatively. What we transmit is not only the idea and thoughts but also the cultural civilizations. It is undeniable that we have achieved some accomplishments besides enhancing the atmosphere of traditional culture. Simultaneously, we should use the foreign moral educational ideas and methods as a resource rationally. What should be noted is that all the practices of moral education have to root in our cultural tradition and traditional morality to bring to a great height of development. That's a view on the value of Zhu Xi's moral education thoughts.
