The Study Of Functional Interaction And Creation Function In Chengdu Yulin Community

With the reform of unit system, "the unit person" gradually becomes "the community person", the urban community became an important basis of the urban society, The accelerating urbanization has highlighted the function and the status of the urban community in the city modernization. The development of urban community's function gradually became the main direction of modern community. This paper takes the rather mature Yulin community as the research object, discussing modern community's function development and creative formation.This thesis mainly studies the Modern communities'creative and innovative function. Firstly, the thesis describes the development process of Yulin large-scale community through the survey and analyses Yulin community's characteristics, including residents' characteristic, community's service function as well as community's service public space characteristic. Secondly, the thesis focuses on the community's service functions, researching the formation process of new functions in Yulin community in detail. With analysis of the interaction of elements and functions, the innovation environment in community is outlined. This innovation environment provides a very good platform for ideas and culture exchanges and academic exchange, and stimulate people's creative thought and ability continuously, thus the creative function of communities is achieved eventually.According to Yulin community residents' committee, the service organizations as well as statistical materials on the consumers, this thesis analyzes the condition of creative function in community (for example rich population's gather).The characteristics of community's function have been described through the techniques of multi-purpose and correlation, including the leisure service, the restaurant service, the fitness service which constitute the public space for the people, and whose the environment and atmosphere have strongly supported creativity production. In this kind of public space, the social middle class, the professionals, the white collar workers attracted to consume this public space and to enjoy leisure, are involved in the thought exchange, the knowledge exchange, the information diffusion, the social relations and social capital establishment and the mutual trust creation which represent the creative function of the community. Further, these creative, innovative functions and entrepreneurship will also extends to the surrounding newly emerged wealth community. The adjacent Zijing community is a case.The last chapter of the paper puts forward some proposasl and policy measures on how to consciously cultivate this new community function. On the basis of the empirical study on the Yulin large-scale community, this thesis suggests to make community planning for service space, the service contents and public space design and cultural atmosphere.
