Research On Academic Professional Attraction Of Research-Oriented University In Our Country

Because there are a large number of scholars who consider learning academic knowledge as their careers, engage in studying higher learning as well as do the discovery, creation, dissemination and application of knowledge to push the advancement of society ceaselessly, they are noticed and worshipped by people. After implementing the"211"Project and the"985" project,some research universities in our country have established firm faith to build world-class universities and construct the higher education to a powerful country. To achieve this great goal, however, must rely on the scholars with "scholarly background" and postgraduate who are the reserve personnel of them.Academic profession's attractiveness of the research university refers to specializing in academic research in research universities that makes scholars' values of individual and social responsibility be reached and can change excellent talents and potential scholars into the power of academic workers. Because talents are the most important resources of modern society, it virtually reflects a country's comprehensive national strength and competitiveness.This paper is based upon research universities in China for trying to illustrate internal logical relationship between research universities and academic profession. After analysing the connotation and features of research universities, it is combined the relevant knowledge between pedagogy and sociology to get the basic concepts of academic profession's attractiveness, then some inside and outside factors that have affected Chinese academic profession's attractiveness are analysed. At last, this paper put forward a few ideas about how to promote academic profession's attractiveness after learning from some experience of other countries and connecting China's actual conditions.
