Study On The Current Employment Situation Of High-Level Athletes In Universities Of Kunming

The attempt on construction high-level athletic teams in universities was an important strategy measure to multi-form, multi-channel and multi-level culture for excellent competitive sports talent in China. However, with the establishment and perfection of Chinese socialist market economy system, high storage and high expansion of graduates caused by continuously enlarging enrollment for many years in Chinese universities had brought some stress and difficulties to graduates employment. The enrollment and employment of high-level athletes in universities had the same questions as above. There were four universities, Yunnan University, Yunnan Normal University, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, Yunnan Agricultural University, which were entitled to recruit high-level athletes. The four universities were all famous key universities in Kunming of Yunnan province. High-level athletes recruited by special enrollment policy not only studied in different specialty, but also undertook various major competition. So the employment of high-level athletes showed relatively particular trend in Kunming, the southwest border city. In the article, the employment situation, related effect factors and countermeasures were comprehensively discussed on the base of collecting materials, investigation questionnaires, expert interviews.In the article, 200 graduates of the four universities in 2009 and 2010 were investigated and various methods such as questionnaires research, literature data, interview survey, statistics, logic analysis and expert interviews were used. The results indicated that the employment rate of high-level athletes was lower than that of common graduates, furthermore decreased year by year. And the graduates mainly distributed in Kunming and surrounding areas. The employment scope was relative narrower, the major employment units were fitness clubs, public security and frontier armed police.。finally related countermeasures for different effect factors were put forward to provide reference for related departments and athletes themselves in improving employment rate.
