Abstract/Summary:
Centered on the objectives of Chinese teaching in medical schools, based on the characteristics of Chinese classroom teaching, this article does an objective study of humanistic education condition of medical schools in Yanbian Prefecture. The present main problems have been analyzed, and countermeasures are put forward to promote scientific understanding of Chinese teaching for better practical teaching effects in medical vocational schools.From an instrumental perspective, teaching task of Chinese in medical schools is to improve students'listening, speaking, reading and writing through the study of Chinese basic knowledge, theory and skills. From a humanistic perspective, Chinese teaching is to present a wonderful and healthy emotional world to the students by vivid and beautiful articles. Students should be requested to read plenty of famous masterpieces at all times and in all countries for the sake of strengthening their humanistic quality. It can be achieved by fostering students to focus on their inner world and emotional attachment, pay attention to the spiritual needs of others, respect life, and sympathize with patients in order to gain responsibility in the service of healing.Despite the endless argue on Chinese teaching of "instrumental" and "humanity", this article stresses that Chinese teaching can't be separated from Chinese basic knowledge and skills, as well as emotions and thoughts. During the Chinese teaching practice, teachers should demonstrate the unity of instrumentality and humanity. Generally speaking, humanities quality education of medical schools cannot be divorced from instrumental feature of language. Only when it is integrated with "instrumental feature", can humanity gain great vitality, which enables students to improve their language skills in a learning realm full of liveliness and comfort. Only based on this, can the humanity of Chinese language teaching become the source of fountain and the root of a tree; can it play an educational role in Chinese education.The article includes five chapters:Chapter One, introduction, which primarily demonstrates the significance and the purpose of the studying methodology. Chapter Two briefly describes the connotation of humanism and humanity, and the connotation of humanistic quality education of Chinese teaching in medical schools of Yanbian Prefecture. Chapter Three focuses on humanities education basic contents and Chinese teachers' qualifications in vocational medical schools. It regards respecting life, having responsibility and sympathy, and communication ability as the basic contents of humanistic education. Chinese teachers should be guides for fostering students' soul and behaving manner on their personal humanities and noble personality influence. Chapter Four states the strategies of humanities education connected with teaching practice. This chapter specifies that humanities education in vocational medical schools should put students as the key point. Students can feel the humanities care by receiving respect and love from the class, can make sense of humanities of the text study by their Chinese teachers' construction of atmosphere of humanities concern. Students can also be properly guided to read literature masterpieces in extracurricular time. Chapter Five proposes some tips during the process of fostering students' humanities in Chinese language teaching.
