Research On Entrepreneurship Education In Higher Education In UK

Entrepreneurship education is the development trend of global higher education, also it is certain choice and move towards. Entrepreneurial activities around the world promoted the establishment of entrepreneurial university and development of entrepreneurship as a new rapidly field of study. At the same time, Entrepreneurship education cultivates student's entrepreneurial spirits and skills, which to become the job creator and promote the social economic development.Based on the differentiate of the related conceptions of entrepreneurship education, this paper tries to study entrepreneurship education in higher education in UK from the aspects of reason, development periods, implementation and operational environment in the higher education.Part 1:It defines the concepts between the entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurship education. It differentiates the meaning in a broad and narrow senses. It clarifies the entrepreneurial misconceptions about industry is talked and the second class is talked. The capital theory, the theory of multiple intelligence and creative education theory offer the theoretical foundation for entrepreneurship education.Part 2:It set forth the background and the three development periods of the entrepreneurship education. The causes of entrepreneurship education development are the high of unemployment rate, rethink the traditional talent training objectives in higher education and the social economic development needed. Then make research about development of the entrepreneurship education from the bud period to mature period.Part 3:It studies the implementation about the entrepreneurship education in UK higher education. it is composed of 3 segments. Segment one is cultivate system, such as entrepreneurial goal, curriculums, entrepreneurial methods and activities. Segment two is administrative organization including UK Science Enterprise Center and National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship.
