As an important part of college education, moral education is in charge of shaping the students'outlook on world, life and value. But in recent years, moral education in colleges and universities are faced with serious crises, college students' moral lost and moral apathy phenomenons emerge endlessly. And among those moral crises, the phenomenon of the conflict between moral awareness and behavior is especially remarkable.Based on the typical outlook of awareness and behavior from some scholars at all times and in all lands, regarding the relationship of awareness and behavior as the main line, this thesis classified the phenomenons of the conflict between moral awareness and behavior, and analyzed the causes of this problem. This thesis also discussed the ways to solve this problem. There are three parts in this thesis:The first part introduced the basic theory of awareness and behavior. This part analyzed and interpreted the western and eastern theory of awareness and behavior.In the second part, this thesis classified the phenomenons of the conflict between moral awareness and behavior. These phenomenons are higher level of moral awareness but lower level of behaviors, knowing without practicing, practising without knowing, deviation of awareness and behavior; Then, this thesis analyzed the causes of the phenomenon of the conflict between moral awareness and behavior from the aspects of the college students, the college education and the environment.The third part put forward some ways to solve the problem of the conflict between moral awareness and behavior. The first one is to guide college students to explore their internal conditions of changing the phenomenon of the conflict between moral awareness and behavior. The second one is to promote the reformation and innovation of the content of moral education. The third one is to reform the methods of moral education, explore effective ways and means of moral education. The fourth one is to create an scientific moral evaluation system. The last one is to build a good environment and promote unification of moral awareness and behavior.
