This research focused on the relationship between the eating behavior of kindergarten children and their temperaments by the method of qualitative research. Firstly, the researcher analized the characteristics of the eating behaviors of the kindergarten children on the following seven dimensions, named the independence when they are dinning, the behavior of choosing food, the speed when they are dinning, the attention while they are dinning, the behavior when there are some foods which they dislikes, the behavior when there are some foods which they have never met or eaten before and the behavior of eating snacks. After analizing the characteristics of the eating behaviors, the research studied the relationship between the eating behaviors of the kindergarten children and their temperaments. The temperament types have some relationships with the eating behaviors of the kindergarten children. The children with different temperaments have different eating behaviors. The main relationships inclue that the children with the easy-raising temperament can be bringed up easily, the children with the hard-raising temperament type can't be bringed up easily, and the children with the temperament type between the easy-raising and the hard-raising type have both the eating behaviors of the easy-raising temperament and the hard-raising temperament children. Besides, the reaearch also shows that there are some relationships between the eating behaviors of kindergarten children and their specific nine temperament dimensions. The activity level, the intensity of reaction, the adaptability, the approach or withdraw, etc. maybe influence the eating behaviors of kindergarten children. At the same time, this reaearch shows that the children with better eating behaviors have "stable" temperament scores. In order to improve the eating behaviors of the kindergarten children, the researcher put forward the strategies from the relationship between the eating behavior and their temperament.
