Geographical teaching not only to teach the students geographical knowledge, more important is thinking and discusses how to play to students' subjective initiative, make them actively involved in the study, evaluation of their own learning behavior and state, from ego experience and self observation, self analysis, self-monitoring, adjust their own way of learning methods to improve geographic learning ability, This paper conducts practice research students about how to carry out the self assessment in geographic study. By constantly improving the students' self evaluation ability, help students to become an independent learner.In this paper, on the basis of predecessors'research by concept map form, further clarify the meaning of self assessment. Discusses the constitution of the self-assessment ability, mainly including self-awareness ability and self management ability, the self-adjustment ability. Then discussing the theory foundation that how to improve the ability of the students' self evaluation. Combining the current high school students self assessment process problems, mainly evaluation standard punch-drunk, evaluation process, the evaluation result can't work poorly handled. Proposed to improve the ability of the students' self evaluation method: Mastery self assessment activities process and principle; In-depth excavation course content, clear self assessment target; Give full play to the role of teachers, professors self assessment methods; Enrich students' experience, strengthen the combination of self assessment and learning.
