Probability Statistics is one of the contents that change the most in the textbook line up in the new curriculum reform. It is also one of the contents that are most direct to and close to the real life. Meanwhile, the curriculum standards and the textbook are the main basis in the process of teaching. Then, what is the main change in the Probability Statistics part when the four sets of textbook, which reformed after the new curriculum reform, compared with the old textbook which under the instruction of the Syllabus? What characteristics were reflected by the change? How should the teacher do to guard the students to establish the Probability Statistics System in their own structure of knowledge in an efficient and simple way? For seeking the answer, the research makes a text comparative analysis between the new and old five math teaching material for senior high school, and also consults the reference documents, apply the document survey method and comparative method and quantitative research of qualitative analysis and such research methods and approaches.Through the research, it concludes like this: the four new sets of textbooks each has its own distinctive features. The People Education Press A Edition emphasizes on the creation of situation and stimulating the students'thinking activity. The People Education Press B Edition carries out the Chinese ancient mathematics thought, i.e. arithmetic thought, into the Probability statistics, and it also put the infinitesimal calculus and limit thought into the statistics. Beijing Normal University Press Edition makes a break of the structure of the previous textbooks. It also makes a brave innovation in the structure of the content and the setting of the column. It always emphasizes on the students'participating in experience and thinking and communication. The Jiangsu Education Press Edition reflects on the master of information technology and the basic skill of computer. Its language also fits the students'characters well and it is easy to be read.Another conclusion of the research can be summarized into two words: reality and experience. All four sets of new textbooks have one distinctive feature, that is reality and experience, which was also the characteristic of the new curriculum reform and the new curriculum standard. In fact, reality indicates the reality of life and cases that are close to life. Experience means the personal feeling, experience of the students. If the teachers intend to teach the knowledge to the students in the most directly and efficiently way, then creating a real situation and guiding the students to experience would be the best choice. Whatever kind of teaching cannot be as impressive as putting students into the real situation. Teachers also need to make some preparation in this aspect. Provided that situation in the textbook are far from reality and social development, it might as well find cases from students'surroundings, or simply let students themselves think and discover something from the situations created by themselves.
