With the high school music curriculum reform in full swing, more and more high school music teacher will face the new music curriculum. Music music appreciation courses set module, to provide access for students of the music channel of cultural literacy. Music appreciation as a means to effectively carry out aesthetic education of students, improve the aesthetic taste, cultivating the art of healthy emotions, bound to the growth of students has very important implications. In this paper, the new curriculum standards, high school music curriculum standards of ordinary sound nature of the course, curriculum ideas are analyzed in this paper expounds the definition of high school music appreciation and characteristics, proposed to carry out in high school music appreciation and improve ability to appreciate the significance of the students.To better understand the current general status of teaching high school music appreciation, the author selected Luyuan District, Changchun City's four secondary schools, the use of questionnaires, the students of four schools and teachers were surveyed. Through the survey found: schools and school leadership, music appreciation course for the degree of attention is not enough, the corresponding teaching services are inadequate; students, in the understanding of music appreciation deviation, and teaching methods for teachers with new requirements, Music is generally not high basic literacy in teachers, not understanding the new curriculum for the depth, personal ability to be improved, outdated teaching methods, learning, and fewer opportunities to communicate and so on.With the idea of the new curriculum standards to the new situation better recommendation on how high school music appreciation course development and improvement, improve high school music appreciation, I believe that in terms of teaching philosophy, should be made clear the importance of high school music appreciation, adhere to the aesthetic as the core and people-oriented philosophy of education; in teaching .building, should increase the number of music teachers, and enhance the cause of high school music teacher sense of responsibility to improve the capacity of individual teachers, and more for teachers to exchange and learning opportunities. In teaching methods, teaching practice should be targeted, the use of flexible teaching methods to stimulate the appreciation from students interested in the process of promoting participation in the appreciation and experience music. Evaluation in teaching, focusing on evaluation of the dynamic and developmental, as well as evaluating the diversification; in teaching aids, the music should create a good environment, great efforts to improve the facilities and equipment related to construction. Through the relevant recommendations are presented to decision makers on the specific cause related to the perpetrators of great importance to promoting the development of high school music appreciation class and perfection.
