"All for the development of every student" is the main idea of the New Curriculum. Promoting the students to develop independently and harmoniously has become the subject of Basic Education. Chemistry teaching should help students to improve their scientific knowledge. As the important link in the teaching, the review lesson can help students to understand the system of knowledge, construct the network of knowledge and the platform of thinking, and therefore help the students to form the comprehensive abilities. However, a large proportion of teachers still take the traditional ways to aid the students' revision. The students are very passive in class and seldom conduct self-learning, could not realize the fun of study and study efficiency is low. Thus, this teaching method has been unable to meet the new curriculum demands, to find new ways to improve the review class' effectiveness of the chemistry class is required. Aiming at how to raise the effectiveness of the chemical review class, the writer carries on an effective teaching strategy research in chemistry teaching in senior two.Theoretically, this article puts forward corresponding and effective teaching strategies after a comprehensive analysis of the present study of effective strategies for chemical review class and on the basis of Babanski's "optimization of teaching process" and "constructivism" and "cognitive theory". The following are the strategies:(1)in the basic concepts and basic theory review, the pithy formula and conceptual graph and comparative method are used, so that students can have a clear idea of the concept; (2) in the review of elements and compounds, a series of tasks are designed to stimulate students' study and interest.Practically, the research is carried out in class 6 and 7 of Grade Two in yangzhong senior school of Jiangsu Province, class 6 serves as the control class, class 7 serves as the experimental class. The textbooks are the curriculum standard trial textbook for the high school—《chemistry 1》and《chemistry 2》, which were published in July 2007 in Jiangsu. By means of questionnaires, interviews the analysis of the teaching effectiveness before and after the practice, this article arrived at the conclusion that adopting corresponding and effective teaching strategies can help students increase their studying interests and improve their chemical performance. At the same time, students can grasp scientific studying methods and their cognitive abilities can also be developed. This article is of significance to the chemistry teachers in senior middle school who work in the fore-front of teaching.
