Study On Cultivation Of Core Competency Of Students In Higher Vocational. Colleges

As an important component of higher education, higher vocational education plays an important role on the development of national economic. Graduates of higher vocational colleges always are senior technicians or engineers in the projects, their capacity is directly related to the quality of the projects. However, with the fast proceeding of global economic integration and the flexibility changing of the market. A great quantity of graduates of higher vocational colleges can't find jobs related to their profession or change their jobs frequently. It is related to the style of producing and managing of lean production. The new productive modes need workers with core capacities of teamwork, self-management, self-learning and adapting the changing of market quickly. the higher vocational colleges always think graduates of engineering major should be technicians, so they asked the students to master all theories and operating capacity, but they ignored the core capacity which affected the students' future. Because of this, the graduates can't meet the requirements of society. Companies need more graduates with core capacity. So, colleges should adapt the development of market, cooperate with companies and other firms, reform the training mode to bring up more graduates with core capacity. In my paper, i try to propose some strategies on the basis of analysis and research on core capacity of students in higher vocational colleges. Furthermore, colleges should focus on the professional skills development of students and train them based on core competence.Based on the employers requirement of core capacity of the vocational students,i analyze the composition of capacity, and classify the core capacity from the practical point of view, and make the professional skills training points corresponding to core competencies to increase the possibility penetration strategy, discuss on many aspects such as the curriculum set, construction of teachers, reform of teaching methods, evaluation mode, in order to provide consultation for the cultivation of core competency.In my paper, i try to propose some strategy like focus on professional capacity-building and based on core competency cultivation.I try to analyze all factors which affect the process of core capacity, and propose some ideas based on "study methods in the theory, and cultivate the core capacity in practise". In a summary, i hope it will have more studies about cultivation of core competency,to promote the development of vocational education,make make higher education do become an important part of national higher education,and cultivate more students with core competency to promote the development of society.
