Study On The Situation And Countermeasures Of Contemporary College Students' Values Education

At the background of reform and opening up and economic globalization, people's ideas, values in particular, have been changed dramatically. The contemporary college students, a sensitive group to the social influences, generally have to face the conflicts of different values in themselves. How to educate the college students so that they can foster correct world outlook, views on life and values has become an important task in the ideological and political education workers.As the differences of school education, family background personal experience, and psychological factors of themselves, the utilitarian type values, enjoyment type values and individualism supreme values were emerged. We need to change our traditional educational concept to make the ideological and political education more efficient in order to guide college students to compound talents. We need to construct a new mode of the ideological and political education that could keep pace with the times. Them one of study problems of the ideological and political education is who to help college students to establish correct values, guide them grow up healthily. Only by unifying society, school, family effort, can we promote the work positively and effectively, optimize education environment, and improve education level, and cultivate excellent modernization builders for our country.This paper expounds several problems. Firstly, introduction introduces the background, theoretical significance and realistic significance of study, and refers to the research domestic and foreign current situation, ideas and methods. Secondly, the main studies were the connotations of value, the education values and the importance of values education, and value education of college students. Thirdly, the current situations, including the characteristic, the main problems as well as the main factors of college students'values , were analyzed. Finally, the strategies about how to strengthen and improve the college students'values were puts forward. Them help to foster the concept, to enrich the content and to broaden the approaches of values education, thus making values education better.
