Higher education quality problem is a worldwide hot spot, it needs scientific and effective education evaluation method to guide the education teaching reform to improve the education quality. Modern education practices show that the "student-centered" thought has very important practical significance, a large number of empirical research results have proved that students'participation and education quality has positive correlation. Between students into education campaign and colleges in promoting students' participation efforts and students'participation will directly affect the quality of undergraduate education.Take the undergraduate students of Huazhong University of Science and Technology for example, the article is divided into four parts from the'student一centered'education idea. At the first part (the first chapter introduction, the second literature review), the author researches progress of measuring and improving undergraduate education output in past three decades,such as the good practice of undergraduate education,indicators of good practice and effective educational practice and so on. With the introduction and analysis of enough empirical research results,the author hope to establish a link between students and education quality,and bring'students'which cannot be ignored into higher education quality assessment system.The second part, introduces the methods, objects, questionnaires and interviews of this research, also give a brief introduction of the measurment and interview process.The third part, descript the respondents'background information, school experience, personal development estimation and self-reported of the overall situation of college, and shows some learning characteristics of undergraduate students in Huazhong University of Science and Technology.The fourth part analysis reasons that affect the college students' personal development with background information and learning experiences, reveals the process that how college affects students.The fifth part, based on the writer's research, there are some suggestions of higher education quality guarantee for this university: (1) stimulate learning motivation to improve the degree of student engagement; (2) construct teacher-student effective communication platform; (3) pay more attention on peer group effect, promote the quality of personal development; (4) build a stage of active practice and showing intelligence for students.
