In some developed countries, it has become a new trend in quality assurance of teaching to allow students to participate in the evaluation so as to get the data about their experience about the service quality of courses and teaching offered by college. Course Experience Questionnaire (CEQ for short), which is a significant instrument for quality assurance in Australian and Britain Higher Education, has been widely concerned by the research and the manager. This study is based on CEQ and is to provide a new perspective for the management of the Higher Education quality in China. It also provides information from students' evaluation of the courses and teaching quality for the sample university.The purpose of this study is to provide support for the diagnosis and improvement of the courses and teaching quality in the sample university by using CEQ. After the reliability analysis, validity analysis, item analysis and interviews analysis, the author amend the CEQ, based on the essence of the theory. Then we investigate the sample university senior students' experience about the courses and teaching service by using this tool. Survey data were analyzed by using a variety of descriptive and inferential statistics, including descriptive statistics and variance analysis.Research indicates that CEQ has the value to be practiced and promoted and that it can diagnosis the quality of school courses and teaching effectively. First, from an overall perspective, the quality of the school courses and teaching is basically good, but the problems in the aspects such as "The Appropriate Assessment Scale", "The Appropriate Workload Scale" and "The Clear Goals and Standards Scale" need to be diagnosed and improved. Secondly, from the perspective of majors, the course experience of students majored in the subjects like economics is relatively good. But students majored in the subjects like sociology and public Administration feels relatively poor. Third, from a gender perspective, boys feel better than girls in the aspects of "The Appropriate Assessment" and "The Appropriate Workload". But in the other aspects, girls all feel better than boys. Fourth, by comparison, the students in Economic Law School and Law school feel better than the students in International Law school in many aspects.This study is an initial attempt of applied research and only does a survey about a group of graduates. To fully reflect the quality issues of courses and teaching in the sample university, we need to do the same survey study every year in the future. So that we can compare the data of different years in order to test the effectiveness of the strategies of quality intervention.
