Study On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Rural Grassroots Employment Of The Higher Vocational College Graduates In Jiaxing

Nowadays, the number of college graduates in China has beenincreasing greatly during the past years, which broke the new record one afteranother every year. For one thing, the jobs offered in the domestic big citiesare becoming saturated, and the urban and rural economic structure is inimbalance. The problem of employment of college graduates has become thefocus of the whole society. On the other hand, with the accelerating of thepace of building a new socialist countryside construction, the personnel withhigh quality are badly needed in the rural and less developed area in westernareas. Therefore, the national government and college need to actively guide and encourage the graduates' employment in rural grass-roots, which willbecome an effective way to relieve the employment pressure. With thisinitiative, the local employment organizations in the rural grassroots couldprovide the opportunities for successful employment and career developmentin all aspects to college graduates, which could be conducive not only topromote the coordinated development of regional economy and bridge thegap between urban and rural areas, but also to encourage them to settle downfor their jobs in rural areas. At the same time, it is of great realisticsignificance for college students to implement the strategy of rationalorientation for employment goals and also for society to fulfill the personneltraining in rural area.There are increasing difficulties in the college graduates employmentwhereas the talent persons are badly needed in the rural grassroots area.Under such contradictory situation, colleges and universities should activelyplay a role as a bridge to establish a scientific and rational employmentmechanism of promotion and guide for graduates' employment, and toencourage young people to establish their political awareness, strengthentheir responsibility and mission awareness, which would make them becometruly models to guide the university graduates to make contributions to therural grassroots. With the three years experience in employment guidance of author, based on the current situation of rural grassroots employment andemployment of the graduates in vocational college in Jiaxing,this paperanalyzed the situation of the implementation of relevant policies and theproblems of rural grass-roots employment, and put forward somecountermeasures and suggestions. This paper aims to bring a bit ofconstructive references for overcoming the current obstacle of employment inthe rural areas.
