Vocational (specialist) Institutions In Shandong Province Investigation On Physical Education And Countermeasures

Higher vocational education is an indispensable component of China's higher education. That's why the development of higher vocational education is drawing social concern. While vocational education is in rapid development, the PE teaching falls far behind. Therefore, it will effectively promote the reform of higher physical education if we can diagnose the problems, probe into and study them, and finally find ways to solve these problems in the current teaching reform.This article adapts many methods, such as questionnaire, mathematical statistics, interview with experts, and chooses 750 studetns and 45 teachers of physical education from 15 higher vocational colleges in Shandong province as the object of study. The author conducted a comprehensive and systematic research on the current PE teaching situation in vocational colleges in Shandong province. With the survey about the students' learning attitude, learning purpose and motivation, teaching content, teaching method, teaching process, P.E Teachers' qualifications and sports equipment, the author obtains first-hand data and shares his own analysis about it—pointing out the existing problems and putting forward the corresponding countermeasures which provides academic basis for the PE teaching reform in higher vocational colleges and provides references for upper decision-makers.
