Part 1The study of the teachers'teaching efficiency and the development of the scale of the evaluationObjective1.Define the teachers'teaching efficiency and its characteristics.2.Draw up the scale of the evaluation of the teachers' teaching efficiency. University Teaching Efficacy Scale, UTES, and to offer university administrators and teachers of any majors the tool for evaluation.Methods1.Themethod of studying the teachers'teaching efficiency and its characteristics: Collecting the materials of the interview on 18 university teachers from 6 universities in Gui zhou province through a deep interview and organizing the materials, analyzing them.2.The draw of the chart:construct a integrative chart of three dimensions and 7 respects and 37 items by analyzing through the results of the deep interview and combining with document materials, on the fundamental of Bandura'self-efficacy theory upon study, RAND'S psychology base, and the purposes and principles and with the frame of the factors of teachers' teaching efficiency indicted by Armor and Berman. Namely, changingTeaching Efficacy scale, TES, which designed by Gibson in 1984, and based on the materials offered by the document integrative methods into University Teaching Efficacy Scale.In addition, it adds the third scale,Professional Teaching Efficiency, PTE2 to the primitive scale, which including the general teaching efficiency scale, GTE, and personal teaching efficiency scale, PTE 1.3.Specialists efficiency:Using the Specialists efficiency to test before conducting an experiment and inspect the efficiency of the scale's surface, also screen at the first step and modify the drawn items.4.Mathematical statistics method:Analyzing 51 samples experimental materials and making a statistics through using the items of the mathematical statistics, screening and modifying the items, and having a preliminary understanding of reliability and the efficiency of the scale.5.Statistics analysis of formal survey:Investigating formally 209 samples, and analyzing the items, the factors, and the reliability,checking the index of the scale and the validity and rationality of the structure efficiency and making sure the reliability and efficiency of the scale.Results1.University teachers'teaching efficiency covers special professional teaching efficiency besides the general teaching efficiency and personal teaching efficiency, and the three kinds of teaching efficiency interact each other.2.The features of the university teachers'teaching efficiency have three qualities: individualism and circumstance and efficiency.3.The analysis of the specialist efficiency and experiment in advance:the specialists passed a evaluation of the surface efficiency by the means of modifying parts of the diction of the items. The index of the content efficiency is 0.8794; and the consistency of the items is 0.8974; They use UTES which includes 39 items,10 items of GTE in it,and which includes b1-10; 17 items of PTE1,which includes c1-17; and 12 items of PTE2,which includes d1-12, to analyze the expected results of 51 samples of which the amount of b5, c1, c2, c4, c8, c12, tis not notable (p>0.05), related to the suggestions of the specialists, to modify the diction of c1, c2, c4, c12 and remain them, get rid of b5, c8. The remains have a relative relation of the general score, the amount of CR arrives the notable level (a<0.05). The retested index of the reliability is 0.8130. The UTES which was revised includes three scales, containing 37 items in total (which includes 9 items of GTE, b1-9; and 16 items of PTE1, includes c1-17; and 12 items of PTE, D1-12)4.The analysis of the reliability and efficiency of 209 big samples:Analyzing the items of UTES, And all of the items have a relative relation of the general scores; Employing the main elements analysis method to analyze the factors,the amount of the variation of 7common factors is 63.786%, the index of the internal consistency of UTES is 0.8270, the half index of the reliability is 0.7785, and the half index of the the reliability of another three scales respectively is 0.7985,0.8725,0.8675.Conclusion and expectation1.This study employs the theories of psychology, behavior science, pedagogy, education psychology, education evaluation stydy, trying to define the connotation of the university teachers'teaching efficiency and its characteristic. It originally put forward the university teachers'professional teaching efficiency, and enriches its contents and the structure dimension.2.This study also constructs the elements of university teachers teaching efficiency and the evaluation index systems through document materials methods, the method of the deep interview of qualified study, the method of specialists efficiency,and mathematical statistics method, as well as establishes a more scientific,objective and feasible UTES, which offers university administrators and teachers of any majors the reliable tool for evaluation.3.The limitation of this study:For the limit of time funds and concrete conditions, UTES is only used as the scale of self-evaluation by the university teachers, without being extended to the function of being an examination scale by the administers for inspecting the teaching behavior of teachers.4. Problems to be improved and discussed4.1 Employing UTES to test its efficiency in practice and modifying it gradually.4.24.3 Based on the principle of sampling at random,choosing enough samples from university professional teachers through the country and estimating teachers at the different stages, and building normal model under the implement of evaluation and scoring and the same procedure of interpreting scores to offer a comparable standard for the interpreting of the evaluation results,and make it convenient for university professional teachers through the country to use. 4.3 According to the meter, the principle of the nursing profession teachers teaching any special performance evaluation tables (University Nurse'sTeaching Efficacy scale, UNTES), the teaching efficacy of nurse's teachers of special tools to provide research. Part 2Research on the teaching efficiency of teachers from nursing speciality in university and the formation of the programObjective1.discussing and analyzing the present situation, the characteristics and the related factors of university teachers'teaching efficiency.2.Making out the teaching program based on the result of analyzing, and then improving both the teaching efficiency and teaching quality.Object and method1.questionnaire survey:From Oct.2010 to Nov, using the mixed methods of layering and goal-oriented samples, the target group is 265 teachers of nursing from 11 universities all around China.2.Statistics analysis:Using the description statistics method to understand the efficiency of the university professional teachers teaching, the different dimensions and the current situation of every respect; The single sample test and the analysis of the one-way ANOVA and understanding the factors that may affect the teachers'teaching efficiency of nursing specialty; The one-way ANOVA can understand differences of the three different titles have on the teaching efficiency; Pearson's relative analysis method can help understand the relativity between every variability and teaching efficiency; The waysof analyzing the cause and effect of every variability have on the teaching efficiency.3.The formation of the cultivating program:according to the analysis result of the mathematical statistics, andcombining with the document and making the program development for the teachers of nursing specialty.Results1.The results of the basic information from the survey:The university teachers of nursing specialty are relatively young, most of them are lack of experience,and with low teaching titles. There are on sufficient opportunities and time for them to receive further training and education.2.Describe the results of the mathematical statistics comparison: 2.1 The former 74 examinees out of 265 examinees are in the teams of low scores 27 of them are professional teachers, accounting for 36.4 percent, and 47 of them are double-positioned teachers of nursing specialty, accounting for,63.3 percent.2.2The present situation of teaching efficiency:The efficiency of personal teaching is the highest among the three kinds of teaching, and the efficiency of professional teaching is higher than the efficiency of the general teaching.3.The result of Pearson's relative analysis method:The titles of the university teachers of nursing specialty, working-year limitation, the consistency of the major and, the levels of teachers,and the further education, have a positive relation with the teaching efficiency.And the tiles,the education background, the consistency of the major and the major occupied, the working-year limitation, and how long they being a teacher of the major, and the levels of the teachers havea obviously positive relationship with the professional teaching efficiency.4.Stepwise multiple regression analysis (stepwise method) results:UTE in turn affected by the type of teachers, professional consistency, title, re-training of teaching; GTE affected only by the types of teachers; PTE1 followed by professional consistency, seniority, the type of teachers; PTE2 followed by the title, the type of teachers, professional consistency, the retraining of teaching. The age, education, access to the highest form of education, work experience, professional retraining in these areas has no effect on its UTE.5.The result of the single sample t-test:Sex, marriage and teachers whether have the teacher qualification certificate, have no obvious influence on the teaching efficiency and every aspects (P>0.05). And the consistency of major and teachers from different levels have a ramarkable influence on teaching efficiency and partial aspects, especially the teachers from different levels have a great impact on it.6.The result of the analyzing one-way ANOVA:The titles of the university teachers of nursing specialty and the further education training influence the teaching efficiency greatly (p<0.05); While the age, education background, the form of obtaining the highest qualification,the working-year limitation, the time of teaching, and further education on the major have on influence on the teaching efficiency.7.The results of comparison on MANOVA:The university teachers of nursing specialty which from different groups teaching efficiency scores has a great difference on the two aspects of the professional teaching efficiency (Wilk'sA=.377***)and the highest score group is influenced largely, the next is the medium one, then the low score group following; The high-ranked teachers of nursing specialty are more capable than the elementary learners at acknowledging and evaluating the effectsof personal teaching; While there is no obvious difference between the primary and the medium, the medium and the superior; And there is also no notable difference on the general teaching efficiency.8.The result of multi-element reanalyze:There are 6 notable ways to influence the teaching efficiency.titles, teachers type maybe affected after the teacher is a variable an intermediary ute.Conclusion and expectation1.The teachers of nursing specialty should enroll more teachers of higher qualification accordingly and improve thedevelopment of young teachers successfully and should not only strengthen the background education, but also enhance the training about the identifying the qualification during constructing the team of teachers of nursing specialty. We should not only increase the opportunity of taking further education training, but also pay more attention to the time, the content, the model, and the effects of the evaluation, to take the training into effect truly,and then release the awkward situation that professional further education has no notable influence on the university teachers' teaching efficiency.2.Nowadays, our university teachers of nursing specialty have a better understanding of the teaching effects, the standard of evaluation.Then should more confident in the teaching ability, and in the belief that their ability of teaching students to learn are better than their management ability and evaluation ability of teaching effects and personal integrativeability.In terms of the belief that judging the ability of students' self-study, personal teaching methods, the ability to control the class and the attribution of whether the teaching is successful or not, and believe that they can teach students to study the major well, it still needs improving.Furthermore, the education of nurse major, is special oner, double-positioned teachers should command stable basic theory and also should have abundant clinical experience, which can greatly improve the general teaching efficiency.3.The consistency of the best qualification of the major and the major occupied have a notable influence on the teaching efficiency, it indicts that when the nursing soecialty employ the teachers, colleges should take the knowledge related the specialty of teachers and the major match of the graduates into consideration; Their titles, retraining and the levels of theirs can affect the teaching efficiency. Moreover, thebackground education, working-year limitation, and the time of teaching also can also influence the teaching efficiency greatly. Pointing out that the university should employ the teachers who are with higher titles and have been teaching for a long time, and the background education supports the Master and Doctor degree; What's mor,devot to developing double-positioned teachers, and functioning well.4.The limitation of this research:4.1 The study is based on the investigation on teachers of some aspects of our country undergraduate courses (full-time type and double teacher type) of nursing professional teaching, so the result of the investigation and samples is likely to have certain limitation.4.2 The special program development is restrict to the teachers of nurse major in universities, and the program development of the clinical nursing needs developing and studying.5. Problems that need to be improved and discussed5.1 Studying the current condition and the factors of teachers teaching efficiency of the nurse major from every aspect and every kind -clinical, professional, double-positioned, and discussing the draft of a strong pertinence.5.2 Makeing use of the scale of evaluation and cultivating program to realize the evaluation of personal differences of the teaching efficiency of teachers of nursing specialty comprehensively. program development still needs further testing verifying, adjusting, improving and developing constantly.
