Network has become a crucial part of modern social life nowadays. With its unprecedented breadth and depth, the Internet had brought great impact upon "after 80s'" postgraduates and their values regarding marriage and love. Under such cyber-cultural context, how to guide the social group to establish correct and healthy marriage and love values had thus opened up a brand new field of study in contemporary ideological and political education.This research is based on a self-conducted questionnaire regarding postgraduates' marriage and love values; while incorporating a variety of aspects such as demographic factors, four dimensions of the marriage and love values (marriage spouse view, love, marriage, sexual attitudes), the influences that Network brings upon marriage and love values, and college postgraduates' marriage and love values educational status quo etc. 834 postgraduates from four universities of Hunan province who were born after 1980s, had participated in the investigation; gained survey data are statistically analyzed in SPSS 12. O system.Research results show that: 1) "After 80s" postgraduates' attitudes toward choosing spouses can be categorized into personality leading, character leading, ability leading, and appearance leading and economic ability domination. Love viewpoints are divided into looking for feeling type, sexual passion type, looking for a life partner type, compelled to stress type and patient type. In terms of sexual concept, there are open sex concept, conservative sex concept, and unhealthy sexual concept. Marriage viewpoints can be represented through attitudes toward test-marriage, non-economic based marriage, age disparities marriage and adultery. 2) Most "after 80s" postgraduates hold correct and healthy love and marriage values, however a few has distorted values under the influence of materialism, hedonism and mammonism. 3) Due to the correlation between marriage values and demographic factors, significant discrepancies may occur among marriage values among "after 80s" postgraduate individuals.This paper will look into current problems in the realm of ideological and political education, through four lenses of Marxist love marriage, K.Lewin's social psychology theory, university network culture construction and self-education to establish the countermeasure that helps with building a correct attitude in terms of marriage and love values.
