People are the foundation of the development in 21st Century while education is the foundation of technology innovation. However, educational institution plays a crucial role in cultivating people with innovative mind. Nowadays, high-speed social development yields new challenges to the contents of education. School P is located in a national economy and technology development area where many large scale overseas companies and innovative industry concentrate. Hence, School P fully realizes the challenges it is facing with its policy of "People-oriented, harmonious development".Market-oriented is the most fundamental property of private school and is also the core for its sustainable development. During period of social transition and economic growth, many successful well-educated people emerge who are knee on their career. Due to their own background, they usually have distinctive understanding on their children's education. They would like to plan their children's education based on their wider international view and in accordance with their future family plan. On the other hand, they are usually busy with work. As a result, it is impossible for them to take care of their children's daily life as well as study. Nevertheless, they are still not willing to hand over their children to their parents who may over-love their children or to maid who is not capable of taking the responsibilities. Therefore, boarding School P becomes their best choice.For a child who studies in a boarding school, he not only needs to do his best to adapt the primary school life as others do during the transition period but also need to adapt the fact that he can only go back home once a week as soon as possible. This is obviously difficult to a six-year-old child. At the same time, this is also the biggest problem School P faces every calendar year. The rate and level of the adaptation not only affects children's physiological and psychological health themselves but also affects others through so called radiation effect. Therefore, to instruct the children to be used to their boarding life is the premise of smooth operation of school daily activities.As boarding schools are not common in Shanghai, the corresponding existing references are limited. On the other hand, social demand of boarding school is showing a growing trend. Under this situation, in order to help children adopt their boarding school life, a study is in progress in School P. In this study, School P offers necessary service guaranty and platform for shearing and communication. In addition, it is also looking for external professional supports. The objective of present research is to explore the feasibility of an alternative way of education through which children can also grow up healthy and with plenty of happiness. The corresponding solutions are also proposed.
