| At present, the problems such as suicide, hurt or killed by others constantly appear in the growing process of Chinese teenagers. In addition, teenager groups with mental illnesses and psychological problems become more numerous. Under these appearances buried more deeply developmental crisis: low life quality, empty spiritual life and dropping in the quality of survival. Thus, it is extremely urgent to carry out the life-and-death education to teenager groups, which can improve the reality and crisis during teenagers'development.Life-and-death education born in America in the 1950s can also be called as the death education, which was initially to eliminate death anxiety and death fear. As the development and mature of its theory, it gradually involves some fields relate to life and death. In the early 1990s, it was introduced into China by some Chinese scholars, who combined the realities of our country, then put forward the view: "life-and-death education". In a word, life-and-death education is a kind education, which provides the knowledge of life and death to the people, teaches a person to think and learn how to deal with the problem related to the life and death, prompts one to set up a correct world outlook and values, helps people to realize the significance and value of life.Nowadays the development of death education is very mature in some foreign countries and regions. These places have established a whole death education system from primary school to college, from childhood to adults, from family to community. Almost all the learning-age teenagers will accept some and life and death education in one way or another. However, the teenagers'life-and-death education is limited in the theoretical study level in China. The absence of teenagers'life-and-death education must cause our attention, because it involves to the teenagers'growth, the future and the hope of our whole nation and country.Based on these problems and backgrounds, I twist my focus into the teenagers'life-and-death education, and write this paper after a large collection of information and a wide extent of investigations. The major purpose of this paper is trying to build a life-and-death education theory with Chinese characteristic for teenagers, and combined with the current situation of our country put forward some relevant implemental strategies about it. Aiming to cause some resonances in Chinese researchers, strive to make some contributions in improving the teenagers'quality of life and subsist.The paper has five parts.The first part is an introduction. It introduced the origin and reason, the purpose, summarize of the related researches, the significance and methods of the paper. In the second part, this paper began from the analysis of the current problems which existed in the survival and development processes of Chinese teenagers, combined with the results of questionnaire survey in teenagers, put forward the necessities and functions of the implementation of teenagers'life-and-death education. In the third part, under the combining of Chinese and western thanatology, life-and-death science and the traditional Chinese wisdom, this paper built a Chinese life-and-death education theory which including the value, purpose and contents. In the fourth part, this paper introduced the developments of the death education in other countries and regions, compared with Chinese current practices, drew some references and enlightenments. In the fifth part, this paper provided some implemental strategies of Chinese teenagers'life-and-death education which including the principle, methods and approaches during the implementation. And also it analyzed some important questions during the process of implementation. |
