The essence of the motivation is to motive the changes of behavior from within. It also means to work toward your goal aggressively. One of the goals of physical and health education is to nourish the interest of students in sports and consistent work-out. Interest in sports and workout is imperative if you want your students to continue this for their lifetime. However, developing the interest in sports and workout takes time and it is gradual. This study is trying to research the relationship between positive reinforcement of primary students in physical education and their participation in sports and workout later on. It is to help the students to develop their potential physical ability and lay a good foundation of good habits. Hopefully this will carry over to become a healthy lifestyle when they grow up. Of course, this study will make suggestions for the new and improved physical education for the students in the primary schools.This study is to use research, experiments, surveys, statistics to find out the current practices of positive reinforcement in China and other countries. It dictates the importance of positive reinforcement in the classroom. Not only the teachers will create a positive and happy environment, the students will also be motivated to learn willingly. It should be a win-win situation for both students and teachers. The way to do it is to individualize positive reinforcement in a timely manner with attainable objectives continuously for all the students. In different teachable moments, use effective and various strategies to motivate students, nourish their interests in different sports and result in their awareness of the importance of participation. The discovery of this study is that students have made progress from what they already have started. Their accomplishment also is very encouraging. The result of this student indicates that the effectiveness of positive reinforcement has altered the students'interest and attitude toward physical and health education. It increased the level of their participation in sports. Because of their positive engagement in different sports, they have reduced their fatigue, and physical tiredness. When use positive reinforcement, it is imperative to use them at the right time, right place, and right magnitude. Also remember to combine positive reinforcement and critique, so the students will discover their own potential and willing to participate.
