Family sports play a key role in building the youth health and developing nationwide whole-life fitness. It needs the families to reinforce their sports activities, parents and their children to attend sports activities so as to have an active influence on their children to make them know the importance of participating sports activities. Thus it is advantageous to form the integrated network among the schools, communities and families. Due to their specific character in age, body and mind, junior school students should be take different actions to develop their habits in sports. Therefore, it is feasible to study the situation of how student's family takes sports activities, what problems should be paid attention to , what actions should be taken. Such studies will be beneficial for the junior school students to form good habits in sports and to promote the development of their whole-life fitness.The author of this paper investigates and analyze the statistics related to family sports activities of Junior middle school students in Suzhou including the contents, forms, places, frequencies, times, etc.. This paper is focused on how the relating factors of family, the youth themselves, school and the development of the society have influence on the family sports activities of the junior middle school students in Suzhou, and supply corresponding measures.The main conclusions of this paper are as the following: (1) The situation of family sports activities of junior middle school students in Suzhou is not allowed to be pessimistic. Problems are mainly on participating rate, frequencies, times and intensities. (2) The participation of the junior middle school students in Suzhou is mainly affected by the lack of time, company of parent, sports skills and sites and facilities. (3) The sports activities include those activities that need less amount of exercise, less investment and less facilities such as walking, jogging, rope skipping, playing badminton and kicking shuttlecocks. The sites are chosen in free public areas like the spaces in the residence, squares and parks, once or twice a week, lasting 30 to 60 minutes.(4) The factors affecting the family sports activities of junior middle school students in Suzhou are the type of the family, the living style, financial condition and parents'educational background. The factors affecting the practice of P.E classes in school include the design of P.E. class, students'participation and the atmosphere of sports on campus, while the social factors are social sports atmosphere, public sports equipments, and the factors derived from students themselves are lack of the interest to exercise, perseverance, laziness resulting form their misunderstanding and corresponding sports abilities.The actions for the junior middle school students to participate in family sports activities: (1) To better family sports, it needs parents change their mind. Parents should attach importance to sports activities, build their children's interest in sports, take sports activities as part of the school life of their children, and create a good sports environment for their children. (2) Organizationally and systematically put the junior middle school students'family sports activities into an internet built among school, family and community. The union between parents and teachers can make plans and design for students'sports activities and hold some interesting sports games regularly . To advocate more healthy life and to make family sports more perfect, reasonable and efficient, it is also a good idea to make lectures on the knowledge of physical training and physical skills for the parents. To speed up the community sports in Suzhou and to found the community steering committee on the youth family sports, the school should give instructions and management to the work of the youth family sports, make full use of the social sports resources and organize the"sunshine sports"like"fellows project"whick integrates the participation of society, school and family. (4) Make a good propaganda of the junior middle school students'family sports focusing on the importance of the sports games, such as the infectivity of the youth family sports games and parent-offspring games. Make a proper plan for the health-care facilities fit for the youth family sports activities to supply convenience for the families in the neighborhood. Open the sports facilities in the school freely. (5) Reinforce the organizational service to the families of the junior middle school students in Suzhou, specifically as the following: first, standardize the system, for example , develop the appraisal activities of family sports of the star among the communities and schools. Second, regularize the sports scheme, and make the activities colorful, interesting and fashionable. Third, plan and organize all kinds of family sports games that are suitable for the youth in their free time so as to increase their time and frequency on sports. (6) Appeal for the sports experts to give further study on the relevant subject.At last , there are some referential suggestions on the question of how to reinforce the junior middle school students to participate in the family sports.
