Ideology and politics course in the middle school is the main channel of moral education, our country attach much importance to its construction. After People's Republic of China was constituted, ideology and politics course has reformed for several times .This thesis explores the innovation of ideology and politics course in the middle school by using historical and logical research methods. It analyzes the content and characteristic of this course in each period, and then summarizes some experience and defect in the innovation.This thesis has five parts. The first part is introduction. It introduces research purpose, actuality and significance of this thesis. The second part ascends historical track of ideology and politics course in the middle school. It divides the track into three periods. The first period: Establishment and development of ideology and politics course in the middle school;The second period: Destruct of ideology and politics course in the ten years"Cultural Revolution";The third period: Innovation of ideology and politics course in the middle school. Third stage is the emphasis of this part. The third part analyzes some change and development in the innovation, and points out some defect in the innovation. It also predicts the innovation tendency of this course. The fourth part gives some advice to the ideology and politics course innovation. The last part is tag. Summarizing experience, pointing out defect, predicting future and giving advice are the main purpose of this thesis, I hope it can supply some suggestion and reference to the ideology and politics course construction.
