Integration of general education and vocational education is an important education reform in England, at the same time , it is also the world trends in education reform. There are two general forms of f Integration of general education and vocational education: (1) To develop a linked system, it preserves the different tracks, but emphasis the common ground between the rails. It advocates the formal equivalence and equality of the different tracks, and provides mixing and converting between the different tracks s. (2) Eliminating the inequality of different tracks'form identity,status, then combined to form a unified system. The former is more common in the current educational reforms, while the latter is just a trend, not common.The paper is based on three relations among general education and vocational education. According to the framework of content and process, system architecture, services, administrative management, I analysis the situations of Integration of general education and vocational education in England . Through the research, we can see, these four parts are not developed at the same speed about Integration of general education and vocational education. However, in spite of their level of development are inconsistent, the whole system of education are trending to show linking and integration. Under this pressure, I believe the education system will eventually achieve partly integration.The main structure of the paper is below:Introduction: in this part I simply introduces the topic of this paper, the research meaning, realistic conditions, the research methods and the definition of relevant concepts.Chapter one: Integration of general education and vocational education of the background and history. In this chapter, I firstly analyzes the social and political, economic, cultural in England and the general background of f Integration of general education and vocational education. Then clarify the internal and external background of Integration of general education and vocational education, preparing for analyzing the current reform of Integration of general education and vocational education in England.Chapter two: The Current Situation Analysis of Integration of general education and vocational education. In this chapter, I references an analysis framework of Micheal ? Yang and research the Integration of general education and vocational education in England from four aspects: the content and process, system architecture, services, and administration.Chapter three: The summarizes and evalutes of Integration of general education and vocational education in England. In this chapter .I begin with an analysis based on the integration of the previous chapter, then analysis the features and relevance of Integration of general education and vocational education in England .Epilogue: Summary and reflection of the paper, then indicate the disadvantages and continue research of this paper.
