But basketball is in a period of crisis in China, which suffers from a shortage of reserve basketball talents in recent years. Now the original training mechanism for young basketball players has not met the demand of the current development of competitive sports. As is know to all, physical education in school is the foundation and focal point of developing sports, and basketball is popular with the students. So school basketball campaign and education have to become the foundation and focal point of reserve basketball talents cultivation in our country, which follows the pattern of"primary school—middle school—university—professional team"and takes school as the reserve basketball talents pool. And it is the same case in Hebei province.The school basketball has to attach importance to the role of basketball coaches. Whether schools can build full-time basketball coaches teams with outstanding professional basketball techniques and rich training experience, relates to that whether schools can keep on developing and be the reserve basketball talents pool.This article investigates and analyzes current situation of basketball coaches of traditional school in Hebei province with the means of a variety of research methods such as literature research, survey method, mathematical statistics method, logical analysis method and so on. And basing on the results of the research, some suggestions are served for the basketball coaches teams development of middle school in Hebei province:(1)Basketball coaches in Hebei Basketball Traditional School are mostly in young and middle-aged , and the age structure is reasonable. The academic degrees of the coaches are compatible, but experience is deficient.(2)The training missions of coaches in Hebei Basketball Traditional School are heavy. Because of lacking of the funds of scientific research and most coaches lack subjective initiative, the scientific research ability of coaches in Hebei Basketball Traditional School are relatively weak.(3)Most coaches in Hebei Basketball Traditional School still rely on experience to select Talent, and it has a lot of blindness and not the scientific nature. It also can cause the loss of the excellent talents, and It is very adverse for the long-term development of basketball sports in Hebei province. (4)The Basketball coaches of Hebei Basketball Traditional School didn't take full consideration of the current situation of the team when they made the training plan. It lead to the long-term and short-term training plans unharmonious and unified. The purpose of the training plan are not clear and lack of corresponding theoretical basis.(5)The teaching motives of the coaches in Hebei Basketball Traditional School are not for money and utility, most of the coaches are engaged in basketball training out of deep love for the basketball business and fostering higher level of basketball player for our country.
