Research On The Government's Responsibility Of College Students' Employment

The reform of higher education and the enrollment of new students have grown rapidly, so has the graduates. The problem of employment has become more and more serious. At present the module of employment in our country is to take the market as the guidance with the regulation of the government, and recommendation of the universities and it is a bidirectional choice between the graduates and the employers. According to the features of the market, it can't resolve the problem of employment by itself. So it calls the government to take measures. This paper takes the government's responsibility in the problem of employment as the topic to go further study. It has great significance both academically and practically in enriching the theories of the college students'employment and improving the responsibilities of the government.The paper uses the related theories of economics and management, explains the responsibilities of the government in promoting the employment of college students, gives a deeply analysis of the employment policies. Using normative analysis and empirical analysis, it points out the problems, finds out countermeasures to ease the employment pressure of the graduates and optimize the social management function of the government, so to achieve the goal of building a harmonious society.This paper consists of six parts. It states detailedly various responsibilities of the government, such as responsibility for macro-control, responsibility for public service and responsibility for management and supervision. Deeply analyzes the demand policies, supply policies and demand and supply matching policy of government in the employment of the college students. In view of the lack of responsibilities, this chapter put forwards some suggestion in adjust higher education development, strengthen the employment guidance of universities, strengthening the government's macroeconomic control, enhance the government's public service function, strengthen the government market supervision function, optimize government social management functions and so on.
