Faced with the characteristics of the age of informatization, globalization, personalization and diversification, fundamental changes are taking place in the field of Chinese teaching both in teaching approaches and teaching philosophy. A kind of"Nonequivalence of Culture"is arising between the inherent aesthetic orientation as well as mode of discourse of ancient Chinese poetry and the spiritual world of the contemporary teenagers. Therefore, the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry has to actively respond to the changes, by grasping the opportunity of the reform and thus regain the life of the tradition of poetry teaching. One of the important solutions to the nonequivalence is to set up a mode of the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry to correspond with the aesthetic orientation, mode of discourse and characteristics of mentality of contemporary teenagers. It is meant not only to better carry out the philosophy of the curriculum reform but also to bear the deeper social and cultural signification.This thesis will deal with it in three aspects:Firstly, seeking roots: The writer will look back on the history of reform of the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in middle schools (especially in senior schools) during the past more than half a century, hackle the changes and characteristics of Chinese teaching syllabus and the selection of ancient poetry after liberation, conclude the basic rules of the traditional teaching of poetry, grasp the vein of rise and decline as well as changing and concluding of the teaching of poetry and then try to set up the base for the teaching form of poetry in contemporary times.Secondly, questioning the present situation: The writer will first investigate the present situation of the teaching of ancient poetry in senior schools, discover the shortcomings of the teaching of poetry and then focus on the challenges and opportunities brought about by the curriculum reform and the development of times and propose the study strategies of reforming the teaching of poetry from the view of information culture.Thirdly, deliberating reform: Based on the theory of basic rules of combining information technology and Chinese course, the writer will search for the effective combination of the teaching of poetry and information technology, propose new concepts of"Tool integration"and"Humanities integration"and illustrate it by providing teaching examples.
