The new curriculum reform in high school is going like a raging firein Sichuan Province, in the face of the impact of the new curriculum theory, thechinese teacher in high school bear the responsibility to change the high schoolstudents’ learning interest in classical poetry indifference, a lack of classical poetryappreciation method, students’ learning ways of passive situation and teachingmodel of single and boring. The author invests and analyses the reason why the highschool students are not interested in classical poetry deeply following the teachingof classical poetry in No.15high school of Panzhihua. According to the surveyresults, the author rethinks the status quo of high school students’ learning classicalpoetry and the current situation of high school language teaching classical poetry.with the help of predecessors’ experience, the author refines the teaching goal andbuilds high school classical poetry milestones sequence, from the "echo, givepriority to with the reading appreciation class type; a class have the stage targetteaching method;" Autonomy, cooperation,"display-question-explore-evaluation group of autonomous learning method; the author explores the teachingmethod of teacher and student’s learning strategies to seek the suitable teachingmethods for the high school students. Thus students’ ability of poetry recitation,appreciation and creativity can be developed. Finally, Students can feel themotherland splendid traditional literature, which can also trigger the students’ senseof national pride and self-confidence, and carry forward the fine traditions ofChinese classical poetry.
