Stressing the relation to real life is one of the basic philosophies of new curriculum. New curriculum emphasizes contacting life, society and students'facts in the content, and exploration and practice in the method, which make it close to real life, socialized and practical. Enriching class teaching with real life-like experience adds the source of times and the vitality of life to our curriculum. Besides, we advocate"heading for physics from real life and society from physics". The standard of physics curriculum says"Based on students'experience and knowledge, teachers can closely contact students'living environment and create vivid physical environment."Mechanics is not only the foundation of general physics but also a model of physics and other scientific researches. Furthermore, it is the core of senior physics, and related to the electromagnetics, thermology and other modern physical part of high school. After entering senior high school, students learn mechanics first. Learning mechanics well and accumulating experience will be helpful for the following study. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the practical measures on how to make physics teaching close to real life in senior high school.First, based on real high school physics classes, the thesis has been focused on theoretical research on how to make high school physics teaching close to real life by reviewing literature. Second, mechanics teaching in senior high school has been extensively explored, which include the important role of mechanics in high school physics system, key points of every chapter, mechanical knowledge related to real life and production, and testing points about mechanics within the latest four years'college entrance examinations. Third, according to the actual physics teaching in our school, the requirements of new curriculum and outline, and the characteristics of mechanics, the effective strategy on how to make mechanics teaching close to real life has been extensively discussed. Besides, we can actively use the excellent teaching strategy and analyze related teaching cases and search for the ways of making high school mechanics teaching close to real life. Finally, we can obtain the actual teaching experience and provide practical evidence for the reforming of making high school mechanics teaching close to real life.In conclusion, this study has shown that making high school mechanics teaching close to real life is useful. On one hand, it can arouse students'interest in learning physics, making them get progress in study methods and academic records, on the other hand, the physics teachers'specialty can been dramatically improved, including their teaching motivation, teaching methods and innovation ability of teaching. It should be noted that some problems need to be discussed and analyzed in the next research.
