Nowadays in the English teaching in rural high school, English-writing is a problem that most English teachers are concerned about. In view of the weakness and differences of the students'English writing in rural high school, the writer consults some books and documents to state the English writing teaching and grading teaching in theory. After analyzing the present situation of grading teaching at home and abroad, the writer does this experiment for a term based on the two classes'students of Grade Two. The grading teaching inside class in English writing means that the students, according to the differences of their English writing original levels and marks, are divided into several grades in one class and are given different aims, different teaching methods and different evaluations to improve the whole students'English writing.This experiment covers four periods, each of which lasts one month, from words remembering and simple sentences training to cultivate the ability of reviewing the title and the writing of different styles and to the use of senior structures in English writing. The results show that this grading teaching is useful to improve both English writing and English total scores and meet different students'needs, especially good students in writing and poor students in English total scores. With the experiment the writer uses various methods to assist in improving English writing, such as standardizing handwriting, extracting good reading contents, reciting good samples and praising certain students who do well in writing or make progress.This teaching method teaches the students in accordance with their aptitude and optimizing teaching patterns. The co-operative learning between students can stimulate their learning interest and raise their English writing levels. With the improvement of writing, it changes the whole quality of English teaching well.In this experiment, teachers should hold attention to these aspects: the dynamic thoughts and learning enthusiasm of different levels'students and setting of teaching aims and teaching contents. This teaching method requires high teachers'quality. Teachers need to continuously explore and improve their teaching methods in their teaching practice.
