For a long time, the teaching method in China for primary and secondary school students mainly focused on teacher's teaching. Too much emphasis on accepting, memorizing and mechanical training has suppressed the students'interest and enthusiasm to learn math, which greatly hindered the students' personality learning development. Students can only memorize knowledge in the book, lacking of using knowledge into practice. The project learning can help student to develop the integrated capability to solve problem. Students will benefit a lot from learning the exploratory research material and method, which can change the way of thinking and overall understanding mathematics, which will develop the ability to solve problem strategically and creatively. The information technology is becoming the bridge between students and mathematics. The effective integration between information technology and project learning is the key point of this thesis. In this paper, categorized by the project learning contests, six integration modes of information technology and junior high school mathematics project learning are presented.Firstly, the concept of integrated teaching mode of information technology and junior high school math project learning is introduced. The integration theoretical base, current research status, integration principals and strategy are studied.Secondly, combined with the practical teaching activity, and together with some teaching examples, six integration modes of information technology and junior high school mathematics project learning are presented. Finally, six integrated teaching modes are put into practice and verified. These integrated teaching modes are used in one class, which are not used in the other class. The SPSS12.0 software is used to analyze the performance of two examinations. The result showed that the performance between two classes reached significant levels, which verified the integrated teaching of information technology and project learning can improve the mathematical cognition and ability for students to solve problem.
