Since the beginning of the 21st century, the greatest achievement of China's educational reform is that the new curriculum reform is steadily advancing.The new Curriculum reform of Hunan province has been carried out in regular senior secondary schools since 2007. The college entrance examination in 2010 is the first session since the new Curriculum reform. So its propositional content and means and goals have experienced great changes.A lot of teachers in new situation began to rethink whether their teaching is truly living up to the new class and meet the demands of the new lesson. I am no exception. The greatest change of the new curriculum is to carry out the new formulated standards, instead of the former teaching programs. Compared with the original teaching programs, the new curriculum standard is of big difference in curriculum concept, objectives and so on. It pays more attention to the development of students'humanistic accomplishment and innovation ability. Its biggest change in the course objectives is that the new standard sets "target for the process and means while teaching and learning" as one of the three-dimensional goals. But the research on it is far from enough. in the field of history educational process. Moreover, history teachers often misunderstand that the theory of the "target for the process and means while teaching and learning" is just the way to gain knowledge and ability and to develop emotional attitude towards value but not the objective of the history teaching, which thus has a bad influence on the actual implementation of high school history teaching. According to the situation, I conducted an intensive study on the target: "the process and means while teaching and learning" in this context, trying to solve the urgent and actual problem, which can conduct the history teaching in high school and enhance the effectiveness to teach. The study includes the following points:The actual significance of the research; the theoretical base of the theory of the " target for the process and means" and its cannotation and position; exploration for the relations between " target for the process and means while teaching and learning" and "target for gaining knowledge and skills and developing emotional attitude towards value ". I have come up with several specific strategies about how to put the target "the process and means while teaching and learning" into effect. Through study, some summaries are as follows:1. In theory, the goal of the history course should be changed from "paying attention to the knowledge" to "focusing on the students"; class design should be turned form "providing knowledge" to "teachers setting up activities and students learning the methods "; the key point of curriculum evaluation should be transformed from "emphsizing results" to "emphsizing both process and the result" 2. In three-dimensional goals, "the knowledge and skills" is the basic goal (preconditonal goal); "process and methods" is the key goal (strategy and pathway) and "emotion, attitude and value" is the ultimate goal (mental power). "Process and methods" is the bridge to achieve all the goals. 3. When we put the goal --- "process and methods" into practice, the idea should be first and the measures should be specific and operationas. The teaching of new history courses in high school should focus on:the process of students'participation, the application process of history knowledge, the application process of history knowledge. Strengthen the guidance of learning, develop the good methods and habits of learning, and improve the learning ability.
