In recent years, Stenhouse, the English Curriculum expert, puts forward atheory that called Process Model. The theory is gradually introduced in the middleschool history curriculum development.But, the research on the integration of processmodel theory and history curriculum development relative lag. Accompany thedevelopment of history curriculum development further. In this paper, throughstudying of the process of model theory, to learn from the advanced principle appliesto the mode in the history teaching. Then promoting the history curriculumdevelopment to become sustainable and perfect.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part includes the national historycurriculum development,the local history curriculum development and theschool-based history curriculum development. The second part overviews the Westerncurriculum development model, and theoretical principles of curriculum developmentmodel. Then, focusing on exploring the background of the process mode and basicprinciples of the process mode. The third part trys to combine the theory and practice,learns from the core of the process mode theory---discussion Method, and based onthe current high school history teaching.Then with “Father of modern scienceNewton” as a example to design a history that bases on process mode. The fourth partreveal the influence and significance that the process mode to the history.In short, the process mode has discussion method, the development of theevaluation concept and the theory “Teachers is the researchers”. These theories havean important influence on history teaching.
