In 2005, the State Council issued the "State Council's decision to vigorously develop vocational education," it is to clear and to vigorously develop vocational education, especially the development of secondary vocational education as the current and future education of strategic focus. Secondary vocational education high school education has become an important part of development of vocational education.Yunnan Province, because of its unique geographical location and industrial structure, the demand for secondary vocational talent has its own characteristics, in the western development environment, the Yunnan provincial government has begun to recognize that secondary vocational education in its economic development and industrial restructuring important with the initial establishment of mechanisms for the development of secondary vocational education, the enrollment has expanded each year, has been initially established with the characteristics of a combination of secondary vocational and industrial development model. After years of development, Yunnan has developed into a secondary vocational education high school education, vocational education, a backbone, to provide a large number of skilled personnel for the development of Yunnan have made important contributions. However, economic level of restricts the development of secondary vocational education in Yunnan Province. The development of secondary vocational education in our province urgent need for further research related to the theory and improvement.Secondary vocational education in Yunnan province has made some progress in recent years, but its teaching staff, teaching quality, quality of graduates and so needs to be further improved. Considered the province's unique economy, regional and national characteristics, to a certain extent, restricted the development of secondary vocational education in our province. The face of many difficulties, on the one hand, secondary vocational education to the pursuit of sustainable development, economic development in Yunnan to provide technology-based groups of high-quality personnel, we must combine our province unique industrial structure, expand school-enterprise cooperation mode, adjust the professional settings, improve personnel training system. On the other hand, the government should play its guiding and regulatory functions, to develop practical financial planning and education indicators for the development of secondary vocational education conditions.The paper is based on the documents of Department of Education from Yunnan, Yunnan Economic Commission for Labor and Social Security Department of Yunnan, Yunnan SASAC and other relevant documents published by government departments, the data is according to the Statistical Yearbook of Yunnan Province. The relevant data summarizes and analyzes the existence of Yunnan in the secondary vocational education. The paper is to find out the questions in secondary vocational education of Yunnan. Then the author analyzed the relevant factors, and then combines related theories for the development of secondary vocational education in our province, finally puts forward countermeasures and suggestions.
