To seek to improve the quality of education to gain the strategic capital of the "talent", the world rushed to carry out education reform since the beginning of this century. Teachers' own professional development is the key to the success of education reform, and it also the fundamental to promote the advancement of education. The different levels, different types of professional development needs of teachers in the process of professional development are varies at the value of teachers' professional development. Under the guidance of the new curriculum background and national long-term education reform and development planning framework, to explore and analyze the teachers' professional development needs and attempts to explore the reasonable direction of its development is significance to the professional development of teachers.In this paper, the author uses the analysis of teachers' professional development needs as the starting point. The way to explore teachers' professional development needs through surveys, interviews, data analysis, document analysis, and analysis of teachers' professional development needs of the status quo and influencing factors. And use the mature experience of the existing educational theories and other humanities and social science disciplines to find the goal of teachers' professional development needs.This thesis consists of five parts.The first chapter is an introduction. It including the following parts:research background, analysis, elaboration of the purpose and significance, interpretation and synthesis of research on teachers' professional development needs of related concepts, as well as the use of paper methods and research ideas.The second chapter is the definition of the theory of teachers' professional development needs. Teachers' professional development needs related to the basic theory elaborated on this basis to explore the connotation of the quality of professional teachers' professional development needs structure, and from the four aspects of the system of concepts, knowledge systems, the ability of structural systems, and ethics and personality system elaboration.The third chapter is a survey of teachers' professional development needs of the status quo. The main systematic exposition of the purpose of the study, research, research ideas, description of the questionnaire design and the implementation of the questionnaires, interviews instructions.The fourth chapter is the analysis of teachers' professional development needs survey. Though the analysis of the basic information of240teachers form six different schools in Huang Gang, Hubei Province, and selected five teachers on the basis of the different stages of different genders, different disciplines were interviewed. Reveal the teachers' professional development needs of current situation and the reasons.The fifth chapter is to build on teachers' professional development needs targeted. The text on the basis of the status of teachers' professional development needs analysis to identify common and personality traits. On this basis, the demand for teachers' professional development should be both to meet the student's current examination-oriented education needs to meet students' demand for quality education; both concerned with the immediate development needs of teachers are also concerned about the development needs of teachers for life; it is necessary to meet teachers' professional development needs should also meet the overall development needs of teachers; necessary to meet the personal development needs of teachers we need to meet the objectives of the school and community development needs.
