After decades of development of distance education, it is no dispute that distance education is already shifted the competition from the scale and market to the quality. As an important factor to affect the quality of modern distance education, non-academic learning support service is the key to enhance the competitiveness of modern distance education. The thesis explores the relationship between non-academic learning support services and student satisfaction, then improves non-academic learning support service and raises student satisfaction. It is significant for developing non-academic learning support services in modern distance education and raising the Competitiveness of school.Mainly based on the empirical analysis, the thesis utilizes the literature analysis method and questionnaire method, and then uses SPSS15.0to analyze and process the survey results. So we can clear sense of identifying of the non-academic learning support services in modern distance education and the present situation of the student satisfaction. Then, the thesis analyses that whether the individual character is significantly different from non-academic learning support services and student satisfaction or there is a significant positive correlation between non-academic learning support services and student satisfaction. And finally the author proposes the strategies to improve the non-academic learning support services and raise the student satisfaction. The thesis includes three parts: as the theoretical discussion section, the first part introduces research background, research purpose, research contents, research design and literature review. The second part is the empirical part, including the research hypotheses, questionnaire design, data analysis and discussion of the results. The last part is the policy suggestions section. According to the results, the author proposes the suggestion of improving non-academic learning support service and raising student satisfaction.This thesis studies non-academic learning support services rarely involved in research of education technology, which is an important supplement for research of learning support service. On the basis of surveying the situation of students'perception and students' satisfaction in non-academic learning services of modern distance education, and the relationship between them is inquired by data analysis, which supports realistic basis for improving non-academic learning support service in modern distance education.
