A Study On Learning Support Service System In Modern Distance Education

Learning Support Service is a key factor to modern distance education that affects its quality. Providing remote students with efficient and comprehensive learning support services has great significance for distance education. Different from the face-to-face forms of traditional education, distance education has its special characteristics, such as the students and teaching models. Based on the unique characteristics, distance higher education is faced with the problem of how to meet the needs of various students. But due to the current distance higher education is still at an initial stage of development, many aspects are still imperfect. There are still many problems to be solved. Therefore, using literature research, historical analysis, inductive analysis and research analysis methods, the article will begin with the theories of learning support service system in modern distance education, and analyze the status of distance higher education. The article has analyzed its hardware, software and prevalence, and makes a further discussion on its problems, including the individualized guidance, diversification of learning activities forms, the two-way interaction terms, and quantity and quality of the teachers. In order to propose better improvement measures, the article continues to make analysis of the reasons for the problems. It is found that the weak sense and low attention degrees are the main subjective reasons. And the technical difficulties and limited resource are the objective reasons for building a learning support service system in distance education. Then, the article explores the practical application of the distance learning support services by taking the ample of Beijing Normal University. At last, based on the problems, the article puts forward the improving countermeasures, including improving the sense and diversification of learning activities forms, strengthening two-way interaction terms, and riching the hardware and software resource to reform and optimize the distance higher education.
