In the 1970s and 1980s, the United States, as the representative western countries, first rise up college students leadership.education. Today our country's university students leadership education has just started, the leadership education consciousness is still very weak, relevant theories less, more is to stay in the training level. In order to adapt to the process of globalization, state must pay attention to the training of talents. Colleges is the important position that training the qualified builders and reliable successors of socialism. In the college students of leadership education is very urgent main task.The paper utilizes literature analysis, induction and comparative research and other methods, divided into four sections on college students'leadership education, so as to provide the theory basis and countermeasures. This article first introduces the research significance of the college students, the research present situation, and the basis of the relevant concepts and theories. Then followed by the elaboration of the leadership education of foreign students' target, motivation, quality structure and ways.and the summary of experience.and the problems,as well as the leadership education development trend and characteristics of the foreign students. Next the article gives a synthetical analysis about the status of leadership education in China,forming contrast with the foreign students leadership education.so, We find in leadership education deficiencies and gaps.Finally,it try to provides suggestions and countermeasuresfor our country's university students leadership education.To develop the students in leadership education conforms tothe law of leaders growth. From the national level, it is more ascending in the age of globalization competitiveness. and promotes democracy political process, improve the value of leader quality, And.from the level of individual, it is enhance the college students' employment competitiveness and other problems.Althoughcollege students leadership education with such important significance, the current leadership education in universities in China is not optimistic. The author thinks that we should take measures to strengthen leadership education strategy on college students' understanding of the value.try to face all students education implementation.strengthen the nature and character education values as a new leader.enhance curriculum development, through the integration of existing resources, focus on multicultural awareness and global vision education,etc.
