It is a common phenomenon that high school freshmen cannot keep pace with their maths teachers because senior high school maths is much more difficult than junior high school maths and the content is expanded. But compared with junior schedules, there are fewer maths classes according to senior schedules. As a result, some students lose interest in maths and fall behind others. So how to improve mathematical classroom teaching efficiency has become a common concern that maths teachers focus on. By improving classroom teaching efficiency, not only can students get rid of exams tactics but also their desire to learn maths can be aroused, their thinking can be opened up and their self-confidence can be strengthened. Also, it is of great benefit for teachers to improve classroom teaching efficiency. They can strengthen their theory study, explore while studying, practise while exploring, rethink while practicing, summarize while rethinking, improve from their summaries and become more mature by improving themselves.The following is the practical research on how to improve mathematical classroom teaching efficiency.Firstly, the importance of making a research on mathematical classroom teaching efficiency by summing up the Chinese and foreign efficiency research is explained and analysis on improving teaching efficiency, teaching reflection and functions of psychological counseling is done by applying effective basic teaching theories.Secondly, by using questionnaire survey, the study habits of Junior Three students and the current study situation of high school freshmen are learned about. Besides, data analysis is done so as to lay a basis for teaching practice.Thirdly, in the first period of senior maths teaching, teachers should tell students about their learning tasks, some learning methods and the difficulty with the links between junior and senior maths teaching and the measures to deal with the difficulties. Then practical research is done on how to improve the classroom teaching efficiency of new lessons, exercise lessons, revision lessons and examination-paper analysis lessons Finally, in dealing with students'questions which arise while they are previewing lessons, working out maths problems and reviewing lessons, reasonable teaching strategies and measures are put forward by combining practical research on mathematical classroom teaching with modern information technology and the ways of previewing, effective questioning, solving problems, making up questions independently, blackboard writing, rethinking and summarizing.Fourthly, a summary of teaching effect is made through teaching interview and score analysis. The shortcomings of the paper are also put forward. Finally, the author expresses her wishes.
