It was required as "by learning the history of the establishment of national history and cultural identity, the state and the nation's sense of responsibility and mission as well as patriotic emotion" according to the motional attitudes and values of the history curriculum standards. This is somewhat about national consciousness bringing up. Through the course of learning to bring up national consciousness, history curriculum has no responsibility to be next. This is decided by the history curriculum subject property, also one of the value and functions of history education.Chinese Ancient Civilization in terms with the content of the modern and ancient history of China is itself "history". However, the content of Chinese Ancient Civilization is broader than the history curriculum in some point, has a wealth of ideas, empirical and other resources to develop national consciousness.The study carries out of a preliminary study focusing on Chinese Ancient Civilization education and national consciousness bring up.A brief view of consciousness bring up and Chinese Ancient Civilization education has been put out in abstract, and the aim and the significance have been put forward of the study.First of the concepts of the Chinese Ancient Civilization and national consciousness was studied. And then, the discussing was put off between the school history curriculum and national consciousness bring up. Also the necessity and inevitability of national consciousness bring up in history curriculum through the Chinese Ancient Civilization education were discussedSecondly, based on the national consciousness of the psychological structure of middle school history curriculum proposed the construction of national awareness-building, the construction and operation were studied from three levels about the national identity, national pride, national sense of responsibility discussed during the national consciousness bringing up in middle school history curriculum by using the Chinese Ancient Civilization education.Advising and reference was brought forward while using Chinese Ancient Civilization education to bring up national consciousness in case of digging resources and education model constructing. Meanwhile, the principles and measures were preliminary studied during the Chinese Ancient Civilization education used to bring up national consciousness.Additionally, some views were signed to avoid narrow issue of national consciousness and the integration of cultural conflict. The point was pointed out that national consciousness-bringing up should be aimed at the patriotism sublimation ultimate.
