With the deepening of globalization, It has a great impact on china in the political, economic and cultural aspects. While strengthening the China and other parts of the world and cultural exchanges, It now have brought new challenges now, for example our middle school students’ national spirit, national consciousness and so on. History is a subject of humanities important stage of basic education. Its role is not only to teach students the knowledge and learning ability, more important is to do the moral education of students, guide them to develop the healthy ideas. How to cultivate students’ national consciousness in the process of middle school history teaching is the problem discussed in this article. We need to understand the meaning and the present situation of national consciousness of the middle-school students. On the basis of understanding the nature and understanding the problems and reasons.,we can consider how to solve it.Secondly, this paper expounds the cultivation of students’ national consciousness of the reasons and advantages in the process of teaching history, that is the essence of national consciousness of the requirements, the characteristics of the discipline of history as well as the middle school history curriculum standards. In the process of training is divided into three levels, namely, to set up the national consciousness education idea, deep mining teaching resources and adopt flexible teaching methods. In the thorough analysis to the middle school teaching material content, the specific content of refined national consciousness education:a sense of national identity, national pride and a sense of responsibility for the nation. In addition, in the development of the national consciousness of worthy of our attention problems are seriously thinking about at the end of the article, we need to take historical materialism and dialectics as a guide, pay attention to the possible narrow, one-sided national consciousness, it should be a priority in the process of national consciousness of patriotism in education.
