The object of research in this paper is parent education of pre-school children and related issues in the mainland area of China. So called Parent Education, is a relevant organization or institution which carries purposeful and planned education or training activities. The purpose of this kind of education is to guide and assist the parent or parents who have children in this age to successfully take competent parenting responsibilities. Pre-stage is a crucial period of pre-school children's physical growth, physiological and psychological development. In infancy stage, how to raise children scientific is severe challenge and test to everyone as new parents. "Parents are their children's first teachers in life." "Teaching, first be taught."The main theoretical basis of parent education is the ecological theory of human development, family systems theory, behavioral learning theory and adult learning theory, which provide an important foundation for the theoretical research and practice of parent education. Through questionnaires and depth interviews, the paper conducted a systematic survey and in-depth analysis to the basic status and the major issues of the current pre-school children of parent education. For now, the main existed problems of the pre-school children of parent education: inadequate attention to the parent education; unclear understanding of the role of parents; inadequate importance of demand for parent education; neglect of the adult characteristics in training planning and implementation ; emphasis on knowledge instruction instead of the skills development; lack of classification guidance for parent education; lack of professional teachers and professional guidance; lack of the necessary social support.This paper argues that pre-school children of parent education in China should be urgently strengthened and improved in the following areas: pay further attention and strengthen to our pre-school children's parenting plan; further enhance the direction of parent education; attach importance to teachers'development and training; further enhance the professional guidance of parent education; create a good environment and supported services system for parent education; encourage and promote parents to be the practitioners and models of lifelong learning.
